I would like to give a shout out and thank you to Donzell’s Garden Center for all their support throughout the years. It’s one of our favorite places to put on a display because we get so many people that come out, not only see the animals but to learn about how to co-exist with them.

Thank you also to all of you that came to Donzell’s Garden Center on Saturday and Sunday to visit Operation Orphan Wildlife Rehabilitation. The material donation and money donations will go a long way. This work could not exist without the support of the public.

Back in July, we posted a video of a baby beaver, appx 4 weeks old, that was found but should have been left alone as mom was not far away. Well, that baby beaver is growing like a weed!

These baby Flying Squirrels were brought to Operation Orphan Wildlife Rehabilitation this week. When they arrived they were ice cold and in trouble, and they’re still not out of danger. Baby animals that have closed eyes MUST HAVE A HEAT SOURCE. That’s because when their eyes are closed they do not produce their own heat….
