BABY BEAVER UPDATE: Construction…

Another 2 or 3 months of Beaver work and I might need to get a bulldozer to tear his lodge down. It just keeps growing! Haha – Fran

BEAVER BACKGROUND: Back in July we posted a video of a baby beaver, appx 4 weeks old, that was found but should have been left alone as mom was not far away. My intention is to condition him for release back to the wild in the spring. REMEMBER: Please don’t be too hasty to assume a baby is an orphan. Mother is often close by and out of sight watching her babies or off looking for food.

PS. Since the Beaver cannot be released yet, we are still in need of more donations of an arm full of clippings from crabapple, apple, pear, hickory, or willow trees. This little guy sure could use them! Please call me at 330-745-2947 if you do. Thank you – Fran
