Dried Fruit and Red Squirrels

On behalf of Operation Orphan Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc., I would like to thank Karra Gazdacko for her recent Amazon Smile purchase of dried fruit. When the squirrels have their eyes open and they are old enough to begin eating solids, they will love it.

In the photo are four orphan baby Red Squirrels that we received today from our veterinarian, Dr. Riggs’ office.

This painted turtle was rescued this week from the terrible Tuscarawas River oil spill at Wolf Creek in Barberton.

We were so happy to see this turtle after not seeing one since the spill was discovered/reported by @oparuns fourteen (14) days ago. This lucky turtle was picked up by Fran Kitchen then off to Dr. Riggs for clean up. Our hope is that it survives and can be placed back out into the wild….
