Rabbit that ran out in front of a car.

Baby Season Has Arrived!!

The rabbit in the photo above ran into a car and suffered head trauma.

The first babies of the season arrived March 1st! The baby squirrels were the first to arrive. Both sets shown here were retrieved from two different motors of a car.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

It is always our intention to try to reunite babies with the mother but at times that is impossible. When the latter is the case, we have to feed and care for the animals until they can be released. Last year OOWR took in nearly 1000 wildlife animals! As you can imagine the cost of feeding and caring for the animals is high and this year the costs are even HIGHER. We’ve received inquiries on how they can help. The answer is DONATIONS – in product or monetary.

I do not believe people realize how much their donations help with this work. We are not funded by any government entity. We rely solely on donations and money generated by the public. For those interested in helping this year, please visit our website donation page at:

Operation Orphan friends are the BEST and I appreciate all of your donations, I could not do it without you! Thank you so very much.
